Danielle is a native of Suriname, South America and originally moved to the USA in 1983, by way of the Dominican Republic, because of a Coup d‘etat in her country.
She attended college in Florida and became a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Danielle, even though she loves the medical field, is an entrepreneur at heart, since she can remember. At 5 years old, Danielle owned her first business as a dog bather, where she would get on her bike and go to neighbors homes on Saturdays to bathe their dogs.
In 1993 she started Ufoureah Gifts, which was a home-based T- shirt and accessory business for medical personnel. Danielle attended The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and received a diploma in Graphic arts, so that she could design her own advertising specialties for her company.
In 2000 she sold her business and moved to beautiful Oregon, where she continued her practice as a Neonatal Respiratory therapist. Not having her business any longer, Danielle decided to go to Cordon Bleu, culinary school in Portland where she graduated with Honors in 2002. She started Latitudes Catering, a personal chef business that provided wine pairing dinners and aphrodisiac romantic dinners to couples in their homes. The economy took a dive and many clients were unable to afford her services, so Danielle continued to work as a respiratory therapist, and piddled in real estate, until she realized that is was time to take a different direction. She loves to take care of people, but not when they are on life support and are suffering. After 25 years of providing Respiratory Therapy to neonates and adults in Florida and Oregon, she has decided that she wants to take a different approach and continue to take care of people but with a more holistic intention. She wanted to do something that can help people become healthier and something that can be a positive addition to their regular self-care. Massage in Portland, OR! So, in April 2012 Danielle started Massage Therapy school at Oregon School of Massage.
Danielle graduated on June 7th, 2013 with a specialty in Sports- and Deep Tissue massage, with focus on Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy and Thai Massage.
On August 1, 2013 Danielle’s Table, LLC was born and has become a thriving practice today. Come experience Massage in Portland on my table.
